Romance Starter Guide

I love  romance novels.  Oh, they are glorious. The passion, the lust, the emotion.  Nothing is better than curling up on the couch with a blanket and a nice historical/contemporary/paranormal/etc romance.  A cup of coffee and maybe a rainy day only make this image even better.  Sigh.  What a way to spend a day.

However, many people don’t really understand my love for the romance genre.  After all, Lizzie, they say, you are an intelligent young lady from a good and prosperous family.  Why waste your time on such smut?

So here I am: reading romantically and giving all you doubters out there in the universe–mainly my dearly beloved friends and family–a crash course in what romance novels are really about.  My intent?  To discuss, review, and go on-and-on about one of the greatest genres around.  And knowing me, I will probably forget that noble purpose from time to time (aka all the time) and include some lovely posts about the randomness that is my life.  So here it is: romance and Lizzie.  A perfect combo.

Sex sells, but romance….it sells even better.

So my lovely friends…ENJOY! Hopefully, you may find yourself picking up a romance one day : )

Yes! About time you start a romance blog for all the naysayers out there. You know I will always be on your side (team Romance), so I can’t wait to read your thoughts on our favorite genre. Here’s to all the happily every afters to come!
